The drop off point will be on The Broadway, next to King Alfreds statue. You will have free time before the coach transfers you to Alresford for an afternoon journey on The Watercress Line.

The trian departs Alresford at 15.00hrs and travels online the line to Alton, arriving at 15.39hrs
The coach will collect you from Alton at 16.00hrs and depart back to the local area.

Experience the golden age of steam on The Watercress Line! Whether you are taking a trip down memory lane or making new ones, sit back, relax and travel through the glorious Hampshire countryside by steam train, looking towards stunning views of the South Downs National Park.

The journey takes you from the picturesque Georgian town of Alresford, to the bustling market town of Alton.

Alresford station is where the watercress that gave the line its name was sent all over the country by train from the goods platform you can still see behind the signal box.
