Canterbury - Leisure Day

After joining the coach at your chosen point we head for our destination - Canterbury. The drop off point will be on St Georges Lane, this is located in front of the Whitefriars Shopping Centre and just 400 metres from the Cathedral. The driver will advise you of your expected arrival time after they have left their last local departure point. You will be at leisure in the resort until your departure time of 16.30hrs when we will head back to the local area.

Canterbury is home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites - Canterbury Cathedral, with its stunning mixture of Romanesque and Perpendicular Gothic architecture, the modest Church of St Martin (the oldest church in the English-speaking world) and the ruins of St Augustine’s Abbey, once a burial place for the Anglo-Saxon kings of Kent.
