Melton Mowbray & Pork Pie Experience

After joining the coach at your chosen point we head for our destination - Melton Mowbray. The driver will advise you of your expected arrival time after they have left their last local departure point. You will have free time for lunch and to explore before your included 'Pork Pie Experience' at 14.30hrs.

The coach will depart at 16.30hrs to head back to the local area.

PORK PIE EXPERIENCE - Taking place in St Mary's Church - a demonstration of 'How to Make a Melton Mowbray Pork Pie with a potted history'. Learn the art of hand-raising a traditional Melton Mowbray Pork Pie in a fun and informative atmosphere. A cup of tea and a taste of a Brockleby's pork pie complete the experience. 

MELTON MOWBRAY -This bustling market town known as the ‘Rural Capital of Food’ boasts a culinary heritage that few can match. As well as other produce, visitors can sample Melton Mowbray pork pies and Stilton cheese – famous delicacies which, thanks to protected status, can only be made in this locality.
Melton’s history is inextricably linked to hunting, and for centuries it was the place to be, with the royal, the rich and the famous spending autumns and winters here.
