Medieval Sandwich & Georgian Deal

From the local area the coach will travel to Sandwich where there will be free time for Lunch, Shopping & Sightseeing. The driver will advise you of your expected arrival time after they have left their last local departure point.

In the afternoon the coach will transfer passengers to Deal where there will be free time until your departure time of 17.00hrs when we will head back to the local area.

SANDWICH - Sandwich is one of the most complete medieval towns in England, it has great charm and character, with its network of narrow streets and alleys; it is one of the five ancient Cinque Ports established by Royal Charter in 1155. Some sections of the medieval town walls and ramparts remain with 'The Butts' providing a perfect elevated walking route.

DEAL - Whether young or old, with friends or family there is something for everyone in Deal Kent. Deal has an excellent range of independent shops, 2 weekly markets, 2 castles, wonderful architecture, a pier and 2 small museums all within walking distance. The town centre is pedestrianised and most of the town is on the flat making it ideal for disabled visitors.
