PORTSMOUTH is the UK's premier waterfront destination combining sea views, great shopping, eating and drinking with stunning attractions and centuries of history, all on the water's edge. Gunwharf Quays is the city's newest hotspot. This historic site has been brought bang up to date with luxury living, dining and the UK's best waterfront development in one of the world's most famous harbours.  Come to Gunwharf Quays and enjoy over 90 designer outlets, 20 bars and restaurants.  Follow the Millennium promenade from Gunwharf quays and you'll find yourself in Old Portsmouth. Looking across the water to Gunwharf you're a world away in narrow cobbled streets, traditional pubs and cosy tea rooms. Discover the fish market on the Camber and the history of Portsmouth Cathedral.
One thing Portsmouth is not short of is great world-class attractions! Start with a great view of the city and miles around from the top of the iconic Emirates Spinnaker Tower.

Visit Portsmouth Historic Dockyard for a truly memorable family day out! Explore historic ships, including Lord Nelson’s flagship HMS Victory and the world’s first iron-hulled armoured warship HMS Warrior 1860. Discover the story of Henry VIII’s flagship, the Mary Rose and see thousands of her artefacts recovered from the wreck in the new, award-winning museum. Your day out won’t be complete without a visit to the new 20th century galleries and the Trafalgar Experience at the National Museum of the Royal Navy, and an adventure-packed trip to Action Stations, where you can train like a commando!

SOUTHSEA - Nestled on the southern side of Portsmouth – with views across to the Isle of Wight – the coastal resort of Southsea has traditional British waterfront charm, with a fresh air of trendiness brought by the increasing number of independent shops and eateries that now reside in this special slice of seaside England.
There are few destinations that could rival such a cool coastal culture combined with a history dating back to the first ships to leave British shores.  Southsea looks out upon the Solent where sea forts are passed by ferries, cruise liners, Royal Navy ships, and even Ben Ainslie’s INEOS Team UK racing sailing yachts.
If you can tear yourself away from the ever-changing and lively views across the water, there is much to explore upon the shore in Southsea – delve into the area’s vibrant character and enjoy beach days, history hunting, attractions, and events.
