Itinerary

After joining the coach at your chosen point we head for our destination - Lavenham. The driver will advise you of your expected arrival time after they have left their last local departure point. You will have free time here for lunch and to explore, early afternoon the coach will continue on to Long Melford, until your departure time of 16.30hrs when we will head back to the local area.

LAVENHAM - is located in the heart of the stunning Suffolk countryside, is considered to be Britain’s best preserved medieval village and one of Suffolk’s most important wool towns.  Medieval charm can be found at every turn with timber framed buildings lining the narrow streets and lanes leading up to the impressive market place.  There is a rich history to discover – Lavenham was the 14th richest town in Tudor England thanks to its famous Lavenham Blue broadcloth.

LONG MELFORD - is a quintessential English village. Located in the pictureque Suffolk countryside, close to the Essex boarder. A location made famous by artists Thomas Gainsborough and John Constable. It was one of the main filming locations for the BBC's Lovejoy television series and more recently featured in Historian Michael Wood's TV series The Great British Story, A People's History.

This historic village boasts two large Manor Houses, an impressive village Church, an electic main street full of independent shops, galleries, antique centres, tea rooms, restaurants, hotels and pubs.
