The Savill Garden & River Boat Cruise

After joining the coach at your chosen point we head for our destination - Windsor. The driver will advise you of your expected arrival time after they have left their last local departure point. You will be at leisure in Savill Garden with free time to explore the gardens and have lunch. The coach will depart the gardens at 14.00hrs and transfer you to Runnymede Boathouse for your boat cruise, the coach will depart at 17.00hrs when we will head back to the local area.

THE SAVILL GARDEN - Since its creation in the 1930s, The Savill Garden has been an inspiration for all. This natural haven of beautifully designed gardens and woodland can be enjoyed by everyone, from dedicated horticulturists to those who just want to spend a relaxing day out with family or friends.
The 35 acres of interconnected gardens include the Hidden Gardens, Spring Wood, the Summer Gardens, the New Zealand Garden, Summer Wood, The Glades, Autumn Wood and the Winter Beds.

RIVER BOAT CRUISE - departs Runnymede at 14.45hrs and travels along the Thames returning to Runnymede at 16.45hrs. Whilst on board you will be served a Cream Tea.
It was over 800 years ago – in 1215 – that the Magna Carta was sealed by King John on the banks of the Thames at Runnymede. The site now boasts an exquisite statue of Queen Elizabeth II, as well as the Jurors sculpture, to commemorate this landmark occasion.
