Itinerary

After joining the coach at your chosen point we head for our destination - The New Forest. The driver will advise you of your expected arrival time after they have left their last local departure point.

The first stop will be in Lyndhurst. There will be free time here to explore before the coach continues on to New Milton in the afternoon. The coach will depart here at 16.30hrs to head back to the local area.

Lyndhurst is the largest village in the New Forest and became the natural 'capital' of the area when William the Conqueror established his hunting grounds here.

For centuries, Lyndhurst was the haunt of royalty, nobility and commoner alike. Kings and Queens regularly visited Lyndhurst’s own manor house. Now known as Queens House, the former manor is still home to Verderers’ Hall, the meeting place of the ancient Verderers’ Court whose history stretches back to at least the 13th century.

New Milton - Browse among the host of independent shops in the busy town centre of New Milton, with wide, tree-lined pavements, the perfect place to find the useful and the lovely. At the southern end of the high street, you’ll find Bradbeers Department Store on 3-storeys, a local family-run business established in 1837. There’s a large choice of cafés to suit all tastes, many with pavement terraces. There are also plenty of restaurants and pub in New Milton to choose from too. Wander along Old Milton Road for an eclectic mix including vintage shops and beauty salons. The War Memorial Recreation Ground is also in the town centre with a popular skate park, children’s play park and plenty of seating. New Milton is a market town which dates back to Anglo-Saxon times.
