Whitchurch Silk Mill & Lunch

Please Note: This is a shared tour with Andover, and so there will be a brief stop on the outward and return journey to drop off and collect passengers.

After joining the coach at your chosen point we head for our destination - Whitchurch Silk Mill.The driver will advise you of your expected arrival time after they have left their last local departure point. 

On arrival you will have a guided tour of the Silk Mill, this will be followed by lunch. Lunch will consist of a choice of sandwiches, crisps and a slice of cake. Included tea & coffee. After lunch you will have free time to explore the shop and garden.

The coach will depart at 14.30hrs to transfer you into Andover for free time, before departing at 16.30hrs to head back to the local area. 

A gem of industrial heritage in beautiful, rural Hampshire, Whitchurch Silk Mill is a 19th century water mill that weaves English silk fabrics using 19th century machinery. The Mill is open to the public and is one of Hampshire's hidden gems.

Whether you're machine-mad, an admirer of silk fabrics, a child learning about the Victorians, or just looking for a delightful day out in Hampshire, Whitchurch Silk Mill has something for you.From the original mill wheel and Victorian machinery, fabulous fabrics on the looms, to a shop to indulge in silk products from the Mill, plus peaceful setting by the River Test, with tearoom for lunch and refreshments - this is a great day out for all.
