Itinerary

Please Note: This is a shared tour with Faversham, and so there will be a brief stop on the outward and return journey to drop off and collect passengers.

From the local area the coach will head to Canterbury. The coach will drop passengers on St Georges Lane - this is located in front of the Whitefriars shopping centre and just 400 metres from the Cathedral.

You will have the day at leisure before the coach departs at 16.30hrs to head back to the local area.

Canterbury is home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites - Canterbury Cathedral, with its stunning mixture of Romanesque and Perpendicular Gothic architecture, the modest Church of St Martin (the oldest church in the English-speaking world) and the ruins of St Augustine’s Abbey, once a burial place for the Anglo-Saxon kings of Kent.

If you are looking for a special gift idea, want to spoil yourself or treat someone special, there is no better place for some retail therapy. Canterbury’s Whitefriars brings you the best in fashion and lifestyle brands with popular high street names while the more historic areas of the King’s Mile, Westgate and St Dunstan’s offer specialist and independent shops and boutiques. Fine art, jewellery, clothing, crafts and antiques are just some of the offerings to tempt you.
