Spitfire & Hurricane Memorial Museum - Ramsgate

This is a shared tour with Ramsgate and so there will be a brief stop on the outward journey to drop off passengers.

From your joining point the coach will head to the 'Spitfire & Hurricane Memorial Museum'. You will have free time to explore the museum before the coach transfers you into Ramsgate for free time. The Coach will depart Ramsgate at 17.00hrs to head back to the local area.

The Spitfire and Hurricane Museum is a unique site which not only displays the two iconic war planes themselves but also holds host of objects an artefacts which help tell the story of life in and around Ramsgate during WWII. An absolute must visit, photography is welcome and best of all, it’s free to visit too!

Come along and visit and you may well find out one or two surprising stories from the Second World War.

In addition to the collection, the museum also boasts a small shop and a fantastic café which serves teas, coffees and quality hot food.

Most important of all, there is the Allied Crew Memorial Garden where all visitors are welcome to sit on the benches to relax and reflect in an evocative atmosphere.
